Over time, dirt particles, deposits, and so-called biofilm can form in the pipe systems. This biofilm serves as an ideal breeding ground for bacteria, germs, and even Legionella. The DELPHIN Spa Pipe Cleaner mechanically removes these deposits and thus significantly contributes to the hygienic maintenance of your hot tub system. Why regular pipe cleaning is important Even with visually clean water, residues can accumulate inside the pipes. Without regular cleaning: unpleasant odors develop the risk of germ and bacterial formation increases stubborn biofilm can build up With targeted system cleaning, you protect your health and extend the life of your whirlpool tub or hot tub. Recommended dosage Dosage in the whirlpool tub: 125 ml per 100 liters of water Use regularly, at the latest after: 8 applications or 2 months(whichever comes first) Dosage in the hot tub: 300 – 500 ml per 1,000 liters of water Adjust depending on the degree of soiling and foam formation Application – Step by step Fill whirlpool tub or hot tub with water – about 5–10 cm above the jets Ensure that the air massage is closed Start the jet system Let it run for approx. 10 minutes Turn off the jet function Drain the water completely Then rinse thoroughly with clear water Note on foam formation If strong foam forms during cleaning, add an additional 100–150 ml DELPHIN Spa Defoamer directly into the water.
